beautiful......but when you do a collage like that you loose a lot of detail in every picture, and the archive can get quite big ;)

I love the middle one, and the one on the right of it. The yellow then immediately blue. Hmm, wouldn't it be weird if the yellow blended into the blue, having a small gradient of green in there?
Then the other one, it's the clouds, and how they seem to go in all sorts of directions and be different colors. It feels chaotic, though calm at the same time.

Yeah, it's true about digital cameras and the lesser cost. Whenever I get a succesful shot with my digital camera, I usually take the same steps to reproduce it on 35mm, that way I don't have to waste film. There's still nothing like spending four hours in a small dark room going crazy and seeing the cockroaches scuttle across the floor everynow and then. It's like they're checking up on you.

Nikon D-70, eh? I'm still at a Nikon coolpix2500, from a few years ago. My "beginners" camera.

The second and third were taken on days after big storms (well, big for California, anyway... they're called "laughable" by my friends in places like Chicago and New York). If you look real close like at the middle one you'll see that the moon is up at the top of the picture.

(I'm your neighbor to the east, AZ, so I know about laughable storms ;) )

Yeah, I noticed the moon up there. Night and day in one shot!

That's the nice part about having a digital camera you can shoot away, la la la, not caring about film processing costs and just take picture after picture until you get ones you like.

Also helps to live in a little chunk-o-paradise like Santa Cruz.
